                                  Part One  2009

                             Body…Soul…Spirit

The three words spirit, soul, and body are not synonymous.

There is a difference between body, soul, and spirit. There is also a distinction between FORMED, MADE, and CREATED. When God speaks of the "natural man" as in I Corinthians 2: 14, this is a person who is of body and soul.  This person is not a born-again Christian. The only way this person can learn anything is by the five senses -- there is no spiritual connection to God.

I Corinthians 2: 14 -- But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Isaiah 43: 7 -- Even [For] every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.

Getting born again hooks us into God

I Thessalonians 5: 23 -- And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto [at] the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

God clearly states that He has formed man; He has made man; He has created man. These three words are not synonymous?

Formed the body:

Genesis 2: 7a -- And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground ...

The Hebrew word for "formed" is yatsar which means "to fashion out of something that is already in existence." God formed man out of a substance which already existed, which was dust. The word "man" is adam which means "red earth". Our bodies are composed of the same elements that are in the dust of the earth.

Genesis 3: 19 -- In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

The human body was formed yatsar by God of the dust of the ground. There is a natural law that states that everything must ultimately return to its original state. Therefore, the body must return to dust. This refers to man and also to animals.

Soul-life is in the blood and it is passed on from generation to generation during the time of fertilization, when the sperm impregnates the egg. A person can pass his soul-life on to his progeny. But if a person has no offspring, his soul is simply gone when he dies. There is nothing immortal about the soul just as there isn't anything immortal about dust

God Created us in the image of his spirit … Supernatural

Genesis 1: 1 -- In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

The literal meaning of "to create" is "to bring something out of nothing" or "to bring into existence something which never existed before."

Genesis 1: 27 -- So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

God had already formed and made man -- he already had a body and soul. So what was God doing here when He created man in His own image? What is the image of God? The spirit.

John 4: 24a -- God is a Spirit: . . . . God created within man a spirit, His image. Man now became body, soul, and spirit. Now God had a companion. The spirit part of man makes it possible for God and man to talk to each other. This gave them fellowship.

When Adam and Eve sinned, they lost their spiritual connection with God. They became body and soul and everyone born into this world today is a body and soul person.

Romans 10: 9, 10 Jesus Christ made it available for us to be born again of God's spirit . By the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ we are able to reclaim that connection. It is the spirit which sets man apart from the rest of creation. Because it is available for man to have spirit, God can communicate with us.

Ephesians 2: 22 -- In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through [in] the Spirit.

Our Internal warnings; " our conscience" Supernatural or evolutionary?

Job 27:6 I will maintain my righteousness and never let go of it; my conscience will not reproach me as long as I live.

1 Corinthians 10:29 the other man's conscience, I mean, not yours. For why should my freedom be judged by another's conscience?

2 Samuel 24:10 David was conscience-stricken after he had counted the fighting men, and he said to the LORD, "I have sinned greatly in what I have done. Now, O LORD, I beg you, take away the guilt of your servant. I have done a very foolish thing."

Mark 9:24 Immediately the boy's father exclaimed, "I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!"

Acts 24:16 So I strive always to keep my conscience clear before God and man.

Hebrews 13:18 Pray for us. We are sure that we have a clear conscience and desire to live honorably in every way.

Hebrews 9:14 How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God!

Romans 13:5 Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also because of conscience.

Genesis 20:6 Then God said to him in the dream, "Yes, I know you did this with a clear conscience, and so I have kept you from sinning against me. That is why I did not let you touch her.

1 Samuel 25:31 my master will not have on his conscience the staggering burden of needless bloodshed or of having avenged himself. And when the LORD has brought my master success, remember your servant."

1 Timothy 1:4-6 in Context 1 Timothy 1 Whole ChapterOur External Warnings

1 Corinthians 4:4 My conscience is clear, but that does not make me innocent. It is the Lord who judges me.

1 Corinthians 8:12 When you sin against your brothers in this way and wound their weak conscience, you sin against Christ.

2 Corinthians 4:2 Rather, we have renounced secret and shameful ways; we do not use deception, nor do we distort the word of God. On the contrary, by setting forth the truth plainly we commend ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.

Daniel 10:16 Then one who looked like a man touched my lips, and I opened my mouth and began to speak. I said to the one standing before me, "I am overcome with anguish because of the vision, my lord, and I am helpless.

Romans 2:15 since they show that the requirements of the law are written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness, and their thoughts now accusing, now even defending them.

1 Timothy 4:2 Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron.

Titus 1:15 To the pure, all things are pure, but to those who are corrupted and do not believe, nothing is pure. In fact, both their minds and consciences are corrupted.

1 John 2:14 I write to you, fathers, because you have known him who is from the beginning. I write to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God lives in you, and you have overcome the evil one.

1 Peter 3:21 and this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also—not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a good conscience toward God. It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ,

                                  Our Danger and Our Recovery…Overcomers

Conclusion part one

We are supernatural being, created by God in three parts, body soul and spirit. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 states

"know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.  1 Thess 5:23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. James 2:26 says, “As the body without the spirit dead…” Where does that spirit go? 2 Corinthians 5:8 says, “Absent from the body… present with the Lord”. That’s why Paul said, “To die is gain”. Now, when the Lord returns in I Thessalonians 4:16-18, he brings the dead with him to come after the dead, for the dead in Christ rise first. What does he bring with him? The born again spirit! Acts 15:18, says, “known unto God are all His works...”

Our day is coming Psalms 17:15, “I shall be satisfied when I awaken with your likeness.” And when we see Jesus we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is, I John 3:2.  there’s an hour coming when we get these new bodies and new minds,   Most philosophers, man pleasers and unbelievers want to create boxes so the powers of God are restricted and explainable by people. Don't even attempt this for it is dangerous ground

Part 2 2009

Food is an issue in healing and health. This information is provided to give you a basis for study and is not medical advice or intended for any dietary purpose. Isaiah 59:14 says "Truth has fallen in the street"..  Your body, soul and spirit are linked and interdependent. The body serves as the "house" for both the soul and spirit; therefore, properly maintaining the body is essential to serving God.  The Guide to better health is to follow the dietary laws in scripture. What do you have to loose?- Change what you feed your mind!. Change what you feed your body! Change what you feed your spirit!. Promote the word, promote health, and develop your spirituality.

It has been said you are under the law if you don't eat the food of the world! However I am not under the law by obeying the dietary laws. The law was given to us to convict us of sin.  It also has to do with common sense.             Research indicates that 90 percent of sickness is caused by diet. Do sick bodies glorify God? Are we not the temple of the Holy Spirit.  Is one jot or title more important than another in Gods kingdom. Matthew 5:17 Did  God's laws on, "clean and unclean" foods disappear?  Leviticus 11 and Deuteronomy 14? Does man's theology replace God's word? Tough question, however in the realm of food, food production and the buffet lines we have created a very destructive theology that has made many of us sick. Can we break the bondage Satan inflicted upon us when he warped our appetites and replaced it with lust for food , fancy and otherwise, for things,  expensive and cheap? With God's power we can and will break the devils plans.

Pastor Allen Skroch

Pray and fast Daniel 1:12 tells us how soon to expect spiritual changes. Cast the demons out. This kind came out with prayer and fasting. Change your eating habits The most powerful, most exciting discovery of our generation  is that we truly are what we eat. Food and our spirituallity are intermingled.

Physical disease is preventable by proper food. Unless there is some organic malfunction caused by current sin, or in our ancestry. God grows us physically whether we want to or not.  We have many choices on how to take care of Gods property. your body.

Matthew 5:17, Jesus says, "do not think that i have come to do away with or undo the law or the prophets; i have come not to do away with or undo but to complete and fulfill them. 18 - For truly I tell you, until the sky and earth pass away and perish, not one smallest letter nor one little hook [identifying certain Hebrew letters] will pass from the Law until all things are accomplished. 19 - Whoever then breaks or does away with or relax one of the least [important] of these commandments and teaches men so shall be called least [important] in the kingdom of heaven, but he who practices them and teaches others to do so shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Hebrews 13:8 tells us that Jesus Christ is:"...the same yesterday, today and forever. Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines."

Our Food, " Did man's fast food improve the diet of the Garden of Eden"

Genesis 1:29-30: "And God said, Behold I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree-yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is a living soul, I have given every green herb for food: and it was so."

Exodus 15:26, If you listen carefully to the voice of Yahweh-Elohim and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases…for I am Yahweh, who heals you.

Exodus 23 25-26, Worship Yahweh your Elohim, and His blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you...I will give you a full life span.

Deuteronomy 7:12,15, If you pay attention to these laws and…follow them, Yahweh will keep you free from every disease.

Psalm 103:2-4, Praise Yahweh, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits. He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases; He redeems my life from the pit and crowns me with love and compassion.

Jeremiah 30:17, I will give you back your health again and heal your wounds.

I Thessalonians 5: 23 -- And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto [at] the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Genesis 3: 19 -- In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

Genesis 1:29 "And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which [is] upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which [is] the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat."

Luke 12:29,30 "And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind. For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things."

Mark 7:19 "Because it entereth not into his heart, but into the belly, and goeth out into the draught, purging all meats?"

Before man sinned, it was plants, seeds, cereals, legumes, fruits, nuts:  Genesis 1:29 "And God said, "Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit; you shall have them for food ." An explanation of Genesis 1:29 according to foods we know : Every plant yielding seed:  Grains: include wheat, corn, rye, barley, rice, oats, millet,  Seeds: examples are sunflower, sesame, flax, pumpkin seeds,. Legumes- soybeans, lentils, peas, peanuts, other beans, eggplant, okra, bell peppers, squash, green beans, pumpkins, cucumbers, tomatoes, melons, Fruits: of all types  citrus fruits, sweet fruits, palm fruits, Nuts: which are the seeds are found all over the world including almonds, pecans, cashews, brazil, walnuts, and etc.

God originally intended man to eat seed plants and fruits A after sin green herbs were added... and mankind lived extraordinarily long lives, 912 years on average, for over 1,700 years. Only after the drastic changes of a global flood and the addition of a meat-eating diet did man's life-span diminish.  Adam and Eve and the generations following, all the way up to Noah, were vegetarians... and all the animals and birds and reptiles were green herb eaters... even Tyrannosaurus Rex was a vegetarian!. Science has shown this by the arrangement of his teeth, specifically his molars.

In the origional it was "every green herb",  "And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so" Genesis 1:30.

Pastor Allen Skroch

Green Herbs are added? Why? Maybe we do not understand what the conditions in the garden were?

Genesis 3:17-19 "And unto Adam He said... And you shall eat the herb of the field". Herbs vegetables: Leaf: beet greens, brussels sprouts, cabbage, collard, etc     Flower: globe artichoke, broccoli, cauliflower. Root: carrots, beets, potatoes, turnips, etc.

Meat and Fish is added for man:

After the Flood, in Genesis 9:3 “Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you. I have given you all things, even as the green herbs. But you shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood.”

Acts 10;  God was talking about GENTILES NOT BEING UNCLEAN, not all the animals that were in the sheet. Even Peter realized this when he got to the Roman GENTILE centurion's home.  goes like this - Cornelius is a Roman Centurion who is a God-fearing man. An Angel appears to him and tells him to send for Simon Peter  verses 1-8. This happened FIRST, setting the stage for Peter's vision. Peter has a vision, and "a great sheet" is lowered three times filled with animals verses 9-14. 15 - The voice said, "What God has cleansed and pronounced clean, do not you defile and profane by  regarding and calling common and unhallowed or unclean." 17 - Peter did not know what the vision meant. 28 - And he [Peter] said to them, You yourselves are aware how it is not lawful or permissible for a Jew to keep company with or to visit of [even] to come near or to speak first to anyone of another nationality, BUT GOD HAS SHOWN AND TAUGHT ME by words that I should not call any HUMAN being common or unhallowed or [ceremonially] unclean. Peter said the vision was about human beings - NOT FOOD!

Eating Meat Eerdman's Bible Dictionary
The definition of meat is the flesh basar of animals. In biblical times meat was used in sacrifices. Because it was expensive, meat was eaten by the wealthy, including the king 1 Kings 4:23; the common people had meat only on feast days or in times of great prosperity Amos 6:4. Meat was most often roasted on a spit, but it might also be boiled 1 Samuel 2:13; Judges 6:19. Daniel rejected the Kings Food.

Offered To Idols  The question at issue in 1 Corinthians 8:1 - 11:1 is "food offered to idols" 8:1, 4, 10; 10:19. Since almost all meat sold in the meat market v. 25; Gk. makellon, from Lat. macellum "butcher shop, meat market" had been slaughtered with a modicum of pagan ritual and could therefore be considered "food offered to idols," some Christians could not in good conscience eat any meat. Paul here sets consideration for the conscience of others. 8:7-13; 10:23-24, 28-11:1, but encourages his readers not to raise for themselves the question of conscience 10:25-27. So the issue of eating meat was not that they could or could not eat meat, but the fact that the food was offered up to idols was the issue.

Food does not make us fat. Sin does -- Our sin made us fat!.  Moderation... No Gluttony. We have to confess our sin of gluttony and be ready to give that fat back to God ."The glutton shall come to poverty... and put a knife to your throat if you are given to gluttony." Proverbs 23:2, 20 "Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand". Philippians 4:5

The whole family of dark green and deep red vegetables is low in calories and loaded with vitamin A  These vegetables are high in fiber and contain a natural cancer preventative agent. broccoli  containss folate, which is important in the formation of red blood cells, and vitamin K - vital for blood clotting and bone health. It contains varying amounts of chemicals such as lutein and indoles. Lutein is a carotenoid, meaning a natural colourant or pigment. It plays an important role in protecting the eyes, especially against cataracts. Indoles may have a protective effect against breast and cervical cancer. Purple broccoli, in addition to this, contains anthocyanins which give it its colour. These have antioxidant effects, which are thought to lower the risk of some cancers and maintain a healthy urinary tract. Antioxidants also help to reduce the number of toxic substances in the body which have been known to lead to cancers, cardiovascular disease and even Alzheimer's. Healthiest colour? Purple. red cabbage contains carotenoids - the compound which gives it its red colour and is the most widespread of all plant colourings. When eaten, the body converts this into retinal vitamin A which plays essential roles in vision, growth and development; the development and maintenance of healthy skin and hair; immune functions and reproduction. Like the green and white cabbage it also contains quercitin - one of the most abundant antioxidants in fruit and vegetables. This has many health-promoting effects including improvement of cardiovascular health and reducing the risk of cancer. As an antioxidant, it also reduces the cancer risk of prostate, ovary, breast, gastric and colon cells. Healthiest colour? Red.

Carrots a food that will do  many things due to its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activities including improve your skin, cleanse your liver, help to halt tumor growth, and is heart healthy, the Swedish study showed that women who ate just half a carrot a day, and ate less fat, enjoyed up to 68 percent lower risk for breast cancer. Eating a couple of medium-sized carrots a day is one of the simplest and least expensive ways to improve your health. reference: Dr. David Williams newsletter A single carrot provides 1/2 a week's requirements of vitamin A. These vegetables are high in fiber and contain a natural cancer preventative agent. Cooked carrots are better absorbed by the body than raw ones.

OATS: Oats are a rich source of protein, and fiber in oats--the stuff that makes oatmeal gummy--helps reduce cholesterol and normalize blood sugar. If you prepare your oatmeal with skim milk rather than water, you get a protein and calcium bonus. Instant oatmeal is not as good as cooked oatmeal because it's made with lots of salt and sometimes lots of sugar.

Prunes: These dried plums are antioxidant powerhouses. Researchers at the Center on Aging at Tufts Uersity in Boston found that prunes had more than twice the antioxidant power than any other fruit or vegetable in their study.

GRAPES  All varieties contain gallic acid believed to have anti-fungal and antiviral properties. But red grapes also contain high levels of the compounds quercetin and rutin. A high intake of this, more usually in the form of red wine, may explain why the French seem to suffer less from coronary heart disease than other Europeans, even though their consumption of cholesterol-rich foods is higher. Red grapes also contain the compound resveratrol - which again may help reduce cardiovascular disease and cholesterol. Healthiest colour? Red.

MELONS  red fleshed watermelons are extremely good for you. Packed full of the antioxidant lycopene, they also contain cryptoxanthin which may help protect against cervical cancer. The orange-fleshed Cantaloupe melon is also packed full of goodness. Containing nearly three times more calcium good for the bones and teeth than a watermelon, it also contains loads of carotene which the body converts into vitamin A. The green-fleshed Galia melon contains none. Healthiest colour? Joint winners - red watermelon and orange Cantaloupe.

POTATOES: Another super nutrient bargain. For 100 calories in a 5 oz. Potato fewer than in many "diet" foods you get high percentages of vitamin C, protein, iron, riboflavin, thiamine, niacin, phosphorus and magnesium. Good addition: yogurt flavored with dill, pepper or horseradish. Put my cooked vegies on a potato--it's nutritious and attractive. Brown rice with vegies or beans cooked and placed on top of rice is great, pure energy. Baked sweet potatoes are great...with honey. ALL potatoes contain vitamin C - required for the growth and repair of tissues in all parts of your body. Vitamin C is also essential for the healing of wounds, and for the repair and maintenance of cartilage, bones and teeth. Red-skinned potatoes have the added benefit of carotenoids vitamin A in the skin, but sweet potatoes are laden with it both in the skin and in the orange-coloured flesh itself. Healthiest ? The redskinned, yellow-fleshed sweet potato.

ONIONS. In general, onions contain quercitin, the antioxidant which, among other things, is known for its ability to relieve hay fever, eczema, sinusitis and asthma. They also contain high levels of allelic sulphides, which help fight cancer- causing agents. Healthiest colour? There is no difference.

PEPPERS Compound capsaicin, peppers has antiinflammatory effects as well as helping to stimulate the digestion. Green peppers have higher levels of folate, a form of vitamin B, which is necessary for the production and maintenance of new cells and often taken as a supplement during pregnancy. Red peppers, however, are full of many other things, including the compound zeaxanthin, which helps maintain the health of the eyes, vitamin C and cryptoxanthin which helps protect against lung cancer and rheumatoid arthritis. Red peppers also have more than ten times the amount of carotene vitamin A. Healthiest colour? Red.

APPLES  apples contain antioxidants, which help the body fight conditions such as breast cancer and heart disease, red- skinned apples contain considerably higher levels in the skin. Higher levels of the antioxidant quercetin and the compound kaempferol protecting your body against ageing and even cancer. Studies have shown an improved lung function and a lower risk of certain respiratory diseases such as asthma and bronchitis in people who eat a lot of apples. Apples also contain vitamin C - although half of that is contained in the peel and the core. Healthiest colour? Red.  Cornell Uersity researchers found that apples contain antioxidants that fight inflammation along with allergies, cancer and viruses.

GRAPEFRUIT A PINK grapefruit contains 40 times more carotene converted into vitamin A than a normal grapefruit and is much sweeter. They also have more lycopene, a potent antioxidant. Studies suggest that consumption of foods rich in this is associated with a lower risk of prostate cancer and cardiovascular disease. Ongoing research also indicates that lycopene is associated with reduced risk of macular degenerative disease eye disease and cancers of the lung, bladder, cervix and skin. Grapefruits in general are full of vitamin C. Healthiest colour? Pink.

YOGURT AND SKIM MILK: Versatility galore. Milk contains protein, and the calcium helps to prevent weakening of the bones. Yogurt has some advantages over milk. You can eat it with fruit or vegies and use it as a thickening agent in soups and other recipes. In desserts that traditionally are loaded with whipped cream or cream cheese, yogurt is a good, and unnoticeable substitute. Yogurt is a perfect ingredient for dips and salad dressings. Preparation hint: add fresh fruit to plain yogurt, you will probably use much less than is added to commercial brands.

PASTA: Whole grain unprocessed pasta is good for you. But watch out for the sauce! Pasta can have a lot of calories but is not a fattening food. It contains protein, vitamins and minerals. Even white pastas are a good source of essential nutrients. You can make pasta sauces that are very low fat and calories. A spaghetti dinner with a meal, sauce has fewer calories than just the steak part of a steak dinner, and offers 2 1/2 times the amount of food. For the pasta gourmet: try a foray into buck wheat pasta, a Japanese specialty.

FISH: All varieties of fish have an ingredient that protects against heart disease by helping to lower blood cholesterol levels and prevent blood clots. Sardines are among the easiest fish to buy and if eaten with the bones, are very high in calcium as good as milk. In restaurants order fish broiled without butter. Poached fish is a good no-fat choice--order the fatty, high-calorie sauce on the side. Salmon is excellent as a really clean fish.

BREAD AND WHOLE GRAINS: Whole grain bread 18 more nutrients than white bread. Beware: Bread that isn't white in color is not necessarily whole wheat. The first label ingredient should be a whole grain, such as oats or usually whole wheat. For dieters: The latest studies have shown that about 30% of the calories in bread are not absorbed by the body. If you eat a slice of bread with 100 calories, you absorb only 70 calories. You get something for nothing. Rice is nice. Pure energy. Brown rice is high in fiber and other nutrients.

LENTILS AND FAMILY DRIED PEAS AND BEANS: Very nutritious and versatile. An excellent source of vegetable protein, the lentil family has a cholesterol-protective substance. Lentils are high in fiber which is why dried beans leave a gassy legacy, a testimony to the fact that you are eating a healthful diet. Try them in soups, salads and casseroles. For the lentil novice, lentil soup is the best place to start. Beans over brown rice are a great meal.

Kiwi: One kiwi provides almost double the vitamin C of an orange, according to the California Kiwifruit Commission. Vitamin C is associated with a reduced risk of arthritis.

POPCORN: Unbuttered, unsalted popcorn contains fiber and a lot of hot air which is why it has only 23 calories per cup. You eat an immense amount of popcorn before you reach the calorie equivalent of a single cookie. For variety: try popcorn with herbs, parmesan cheese, apples, grapes or freshly ground pepper.

BANANAS: Great as sweeteners for oatmeal and rice. High in potassium, vitamins and other minerals. Great as a spread on a sandwich with whole-grain breads. Pure energy.

ORANGES a good source of vitamin C, oranges also contain lutein which is good for eyesight and cryptoxanthin protects against various cancers. Blood oranges do have some additional health benefits. Not only do they contain nearly four times the level of carotene which - when converted by the body into vitamin A - helps to increase resistance to infection and is used to maintain a healthy sperm count in males and fertility in females, but blood oranges also have higher levels of the antioxidant lycopene. Healthiest colour? blood red.

Berries: are all great sources of antioxidants and vitamin C. Blueberries have been ranked number 1 in terms of antioxidant concentrations, but cranberries, blackberries, strawberries and raspberries are good choices too.

Cranberries contained the most antioxidant phenols compared to 19 commonly eaten fruits. Studies rank cranberries as leaders in phenolic compound content. These antioxidants may play a role in helping to prevent heart disease and certain cancers. Certain compounds in cranberries have been found to be toxic to many cancer tumor cell lines, including:Lung cancer Cervical cancer Prostate cancer Breast cancer Leukemia

Cherries: According to Eve Campanelli, PhD in Prevention magazine, after drinking two glasses of black cherry juice four ounces of juice with four ounces of water twice a day, 85 percent of her patients experienced at least partial relief from their arthritis pain. Further, the effect continued even after the patients stopped drinking the juice.

Parsley: contains beta-carotene, making it a useful ingredient for those with arthritis, says Cherie Calbom, M.S., a certified nutritionist in Kirkland, Washington.

Pineapple: Pineapple is rich in the enzyme bromelain, a powerful and natural anti-inflammatory agent.

Beans: "The protein in beans helps to replace body proteins broken down by inflammation," says Denise Cedar, a Salem, Oregon-based dietitian.

Red Grapes: Red grapes are loaded with antioxidants that can help reduce inflammation associated with arthritis as well as fight heart disease and cancer.

Tomatoes: Tomatoes are an excellent source of the antioxidant lycopene, which has been found to help fight degenerative diseases and reduce the risk of prostate and other cancers. Cooked tomatoes tomato sauce or paste, marinara sauce, ketchup, etc. are best when it comes to lycopene.

Doughnuts are: worse than no breakfast at all.  Doughnuts have sugar, white flour and grease. Cheese: is not a wonder food. Eat small amounts, cheese is equal to red meat in the mount of fat and cholesterol and more salt worst cheeses: cottage cheese, part-skim mozzarella, skim milk ricotta and feta. best hard cheese is swiss. grated parmesan goes a long way. hot dogs:. white flour breads and fat.  85% calories are fat.

Pork & pork products including do you not eat any pork products because of what the bible says? do you not eat any pork because of what the doctors and scientists say about pig gelatin desserts.

The production of the gelatin starts with the refinement of collagen-bearing tissues of any animal that has been raised and slaughtered for food. the principal collagen-bearing tissue used is hide trimmings. the fat layer inside the hide" food gelatin comes from pigs and cows. gelatin is not required to be on the list of ingredients, but can be found in beef--jellied beef, corned beef loaves, jellied tongue, cake icing bakery, candy--bonbon coatings, candy cigarettes, lozenges, wafers, cheese foods, cheese spreads, chewing gum, chicken rolls, chiffon pies, chocolate flavored beverages, chocolate milk, confectionery ingredient, cottage cheese, cream, cream cheese, frozen cheesecake, frozen cream pies, frozen custard, frozen deserts, frozen gravies and sauces, fruit gelatins and puddings, gelatin deserts, ice cream, marshmallows, neufchatel cheese, popsicles, ricotta cheese, sherbets--fruit, turkey rolls, water ices, yogurt, and the list keeps growing.

Leviticus 3:16,17 and again in Leviticus 7:23 states that all the Fat belongs to the Lord and that we are not to eat it in any manner  Health promises our Father gave us in return for obedience, include that none of the evil diseases of the Egyptians in Exodus 15:26, Deuteronomy 7:15, and Exodus 23:25. Health rules have nothing to do at all with our salvation and eternal life. However  it has a lot to do with good health and it is sin against  God's natural order of things and the laws of nature and you are sure to develop the disease of the body as you violate them. Gen 1:29. says we are to eat seed plants, and  fruits and vegetables as grown . Example when we concentrate the oil, it takes approximately 14 ears of corn to make one tablespoon of corn oil and how many of us need 14 ears of corn at one setting

Isn't it logical to assume that this is the word of God and it will help us significantly if we follow Gods laws in eating? Selective interpretation a sin common to humanity can justify anything. Choose this day ….. what you believe.

Olive oil is the oil of our people. Use olive oil whenever possible.  the oil of anointing, oil of light, oil of health to this flesh and eternal life. Onr it lowers the blood total cholesterol, Two it raises the HDL good cholesterol, Three lowers the LDL bad cholesterol, Four lowers the blood pressure, Five lowers blood sugar, Six it lowers the risk of coronary artery disease and CANCER.

Use cold pressed olive oil in moderation in baking, as a salad dressing and on pasta. Other oils will do just the opposite but  cold pressed olive oil should have such marvelous benefits to our bodies? James 5:14, the anointing oil ....

Fish with their oils, the Omega III factor which is beneficial in preventing coronary artery disease. Fish is your best meat source of protein, containing very little fat. You only need 4 ounces of protein daily to replace the muscle you wear out daily.

Carbohydrates are our energy foods and digest without waste products Eat all the carbohydrates you need not want 80% of your diet should be carbohydrates..

Protein in excess is harmful to your health. Ideally only 10% of your calories need to be protein. More difficult to digest, requiring  8 times as much water to dilute the waste products, urea, ammonia. Beans have more protein per dollar spent than meats.

Fat is harmful when it makes up more that 10% of your calories.

Daniel Diet "At the end of the ten days they looked healthier and better nourished than any of the young men who ate the royal food." Dan.1:11-15 King Nebuchadnezzar's choice food was very similar to the Standard American Diet SAD, with plenty of meat, fish, eggs...  and Daniel an his friends, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, were found even ten times better in matters of wisdom and understanding Dan.1:18-20.

CLEAN MEATS OF THE BIBLE

Land Creatures   Cattle - Beef, Veal. Sheep - Lamb,  Mutton.  Antelope, Buffalo Bison, Caribou, Deer Venison, Elk, Gazell, Giraffe, Goat, Hart, Ibex, Moose, Reindeer, Locust. Water Creatures   Anchovy, Bass, Bluefish, Carp, Cod, Croppie, Flounder, Grouper, Grunt, Haddock, Halibut, Herring, Mackerel, Minnow, Perch, Pickerel, Pike, Rockfish, Salmon, Shad, Smelt, Snapper, Sole, Steelhead, Sunfish, Tarpon, Tuna Albacore, Bonita, Yellowtail.

Air Creatures  Chickens, Dove, Duck, Goose, Grouse, Guinea fowl, Partridge, Peacock, Pheasant, Pigeon, Songbird, Sparrow, Quail, Turkey.

God originally intended man to be vegetarian, with plants, and fruits Gen.1:29... and mankind lived extraordinarily long lives, 912 years on average, for over 1,700 years. Only after sin brought on the drastic changes of a global flood and the addition of a meat-eating diet did man's life-span diminish Gen.9:3. Interesting in view of  Gen 1:29... One more time we see the process of selective belief patterns. Was the Garden God's best? Did man have the ability to improve on it with the multitude of processed foods we see on the market today or are we being victimized by Satan? Good health does not come in mans understanding or a capsule. Our Bible, His Word, is a book of instruction and prevention from Genesis to Revelation.

STATISTICS QUOTES AND FOOD TRIVIA.

Vegetarians are among the healthiest and longest living people on earth. Russian Caucasians, the Yucatan Indians, the East Indian Todas, and the Pakistan Hunzakuts live to be 90 to 100 years old. The three cultures that live the longest in the world are the Vilcambas Andes of Ecuador, the Abkhasians Black Sea, and the Hunzas Himalayas of Northern Pakistan. All three cultures are completely vegetarian or very close to it. The largest group, the Hunzas, only consume an average of 1.5% of total calories from animal products. The elderly in these cultures not only live to be over 100 years old, but live vital, healthy lives until their death. Robbins, John. Diet for a New America. Walpole, New Hampshire: Stillpoint Publishing, 1987. 154-155.

Many laboratory tests have been conducted in order to compare the strength and stamina of meat-eaters against vegetarians. Yale Professor Irving Fisher selected men from three groups: meat-eating athletes, vegetarian athletes, and vegetarian sedentary subjects. He found that the meat-eating athletes showed far less endurance than even the sedentary vegetarians. Dr. J. Ioteyko of Paris performed a comparable study and found that vegetarians averaged two to three times more stamina than meat eaters. Also, he found that vegetarians only took one-fifth of the time to recover from exhaustion than did their meat-eating counterparts. A Danish study in 1968 revealed that men peddling on a stationary bicycle until muscle failure lasted an average of 114 minutes on a mixed meat and vegetable diet, 57 minutes on a high-meat diet, and a whopping 167 minutes on a strict vegetarian diet. Robbins, John. Diet for a New America. Walpole, New Hampshire: Stillpoint Publishing, 1987. 156-158.  It is inarguable that a meatless diet is healthy. The overwhelming evidence, biblical and scientific, is in favor of a vegetarian diet, consisting of raw fruits, vegetables, nuts, and seeds, with limited amounts of whole grains, brown rice, potatoes, and legumes.

Scientists conducted and found that those people whose diets included high amounts of fruits, and vegetables, and legumes had fewer wrinkles. In contrast high intakes of meat, dairy products, and butter were linked to more wrinkled skin. The study subjects in each country who had the least skin wrinkling and damage followed diets that included low intakes of butter, margarine, milk products, and sugar products in conjunction with high intakes of vegetables and legumes. Three specific dietary staples -- prunes, apples, and tea -- accounted for a significant advantage in skin condition Antioxidants get the credit for these antiaging benefits. Foods, rich in antioxidant vitamins A, C, and E, help block damage from the sun and other environmental exposure. reference: J. Am. Coll. Nutr. 20:71-80, 2001 and Dr. McDougall Newsletter Also per the Journal of the American College of Nutrition the legumes especially broad beans and lima beans, asparagus, celery, onions, leeks, garlic, nuts, olives, cherries, melon, dried fruits, pears, eggs, yogurt and water all significantly helped to prevent wrinkles. Physicians will readily admit we are not yet able to cope with the world's health problems. Meaningful prevention is being ignored, when we now have discovered that nutrition is the major factor in good health and disease. We are truly what we eat and our immune system really works.

Our body is self-healing when furnished with the basic needs of life, oxygen, water, proper food fuel, exercise and love. Love is the soil in which we grow. all the major illnesses are 80% preventable now by a very low-fat diet, Exercise is essential about a 3 mile walk per day, minimal alcohol and no smoking. Exercise start today

Part 3 2009

Obedience 1 John 3:22 and receive from him anything we ask, because we obey his commands and do what pleases him.

Hebrews 6:1 Therefore let us leave the elementary teachings about Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death, and of faith in God,

Romans 6:16 Don't you know that when you offer yourselves to someone to obey him as slaves, you are slaves to the one whom you obey—whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness?

Hebrews 11:8 By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going.

1 John 3:24 Those who obey his commands live in him, and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us.

1 John 5:3 This is love for God: to obey his commands. And his commands are not burdensome,

Obedience is as basic an element in our spiritual life as one can point to. Some system of authority is a requirement of all spirituality. For many people, obedience is a deeply ingrained behavior tendency, a potent impulse overriding training in ethics, sympathy, and moral conduct. The dilemma inherent in submission to authority is ancient, as old as the story of Abraham, and the question of whether one should obey when commands conflict with conscience has been argued.

Obedience is a quality which must be cultivated by every person, if they desire to advance to a higher level in spiritual life an inherent part of our nature, which all humans are born with but few develop.  Obedience comes from one's own volition and is usually based on three important attributes: 1. respect, 2. faith and 3. devotion.  In order to practice obedience, there must be someone in our life who can inspire these three within us. Then obedience will come naturally. Obedience causes us to grow spiritually. We must experience obedience in order to understand spiritual laws and this experience in itself will be enough to transport people into unimagined heights of spiritual activity. Once the individual has understood the role of obedience in spiritual life, this quality can be cultivated as he might cultivate other skills.

Obedience is an aspect of our faith. The more faith we have in God the more we obey his its ways and the more our spirituality will grow..  The most obvious form is obeying God through obeying the commandments, his word, or his intent the more we will grow.

                             ELISHA’S FAITH AND OBEDIENCE

2 Kings 6: 8-18  Now the king of Aram was at war with Israel. After conferring with his officers, he said, "I will set up my camp in such and such a place." 9 The man of God sent word to the king of Israel: "Beware of passing that place, because the Arameans are going down there." 10 So the king of Israel checked on the place indicated by the man of God. Time and again Elisha warned the king, so that he was on his guard in such places.11 This enraged the king of Aram. He summoned his officers and demanded of them, "Will you not tell me which of us is on the side of the king of Israel?" 12 "None of us, my lord the king," said one of his officers, "but Elisha, the prophet who is in Israel, tells the king of Israel the very words you speak in your bedroom."  13 "Go, find out where he is," the king ordered, "so I can send men and capture him." The report came back: "He is in Dothan." 14 Then he sent horses and chariots and a strong force there. They went by night and surrounded the city. 15 When the servant of the man of God got up and went out early the next morning, an army with horses and chariots had surrounded the city. "Oh, my lord, what shall we do?" the servant asked. 16 "Don't be afraid," the prophet answered. "Those who are with us are more than those who are with them." 17 And Elisha prayed, "O LORD , open his eyes so he may see." Then the LORD opened the servant's eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha. 18 As the enemy came down toward him, Elisha prayed to the LORD , "Strike these people with blindness." So he struck them with blindness, as Elisha had asked.

Ephesians 6:12  states,  "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms." To do battle in the spiritual realm we must be born of the spirit. You can't do battle unless you are on the same field. We can not enter in where we are not. All the liturgy theology, philosphy and preparation means nothing unless we enter the battle as a spirit being.

Psalm 34:7“The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them.”

Psalm 147:18 "He sends his word and melts them; he stirs up his breezes, and the waters flow"

John 3:8 The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit."

Ecclesiastes 11:5 As you do not know the path of the wind, or how the body is formed in a mother's womb, so you cannot understand the work of God, the Maker of all things.

John 4:24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth."

Part 4  2009

John 8:43   Why is my language not clear to you? Because you are unable to hear what I say.

John 8:44   You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies

John 8:45   Yet because I tell the truth, you do not believe me!

John 3:3   In reply Jesus declared, "I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again."

John 3:7   You should not be surprised at my saying, 'You must be born again.'

John 3:10   "You are Israel's teacher," said Jesus, "and do you not understand these things?

John 3:11   I tell you the truth, we speak of what we know, and we testify to what we have seen, but still you people do not accept our testimony.

John 3:12   I have spoken to you of earthly things and you do not believe; how then will you believe if I speak of heavenly things?

It is through the human spirit that we have can know Jesus

John 1:2  Jesus was with God in the beginning.

John 1:3   Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.

John 1:4   In him was life, and that life was the light of men.

Psalm 139:13   For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb.

Psalm 139:14   I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

Psalm 139:15   My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth,

Psalm 139:16   your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.

Genesis 1:26   Then God said, "Let us make man in our 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.

It is through the human spirit that we are connected to God the Father

Matthew 18:10  "See that you do not look down on one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven.

Col 1:16  For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him.

Psalm 103:19 The LORD has established his throne in heaven, and his kingdom rules over all.

Genesis 2:7  the LORD God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.

It is through the human spirit that we are a part of the family of God.

Isaiah 54:5 For your Maker is your husband-- the LORD Almighty is his name-- the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer; he is called the God of all the earth.

Genesis 1:27   So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.

Romans 8:13 For if you live according to the sinful nature, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live, because those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God

Romans 8:15 For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of son ship. And by him we cry, "Abba, Father." The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children.

Get Born Again … get reborn … get committed... know that you know

John 3:3   In reply Jesus declared, "I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again."

John 3:4   "How can a man be born when he is old?" Nicodemus asked. "Surely he cannot enter a second time into his mother's womb to be born!"

John 3:5   Jesus answered, "I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit.

John 3:6   Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit.

It is through the human spirit that our minds are renewed.

Romans 12:2   Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Luke 4:18   Jesus said "The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed,

Luke 4:19   to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor." It is with our human spirit we commune with God in Jesus.

Hebrews 13:15   Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise--the fruit of lips that confess his name.

Matthew 6:6   But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

2 Corinthians 12:1   I must go on boasting. Although there is nothing to be gained, I will go on to visions and revelations from the Lord.

Acts 2:17   "'In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.

Mindsets must be discarded and truth replaces the lies of the devil it is through our human spirit that God seals our destiny. Made in the image of God, the spiritual part of man was deemed to be over the flesh and soul. Un-regenerate man places the mind and body above or even denies the spirit within him. Our power to do the will of God is to develop the human spirit.

Pastor Allen Skroch

It is through the human spirit that we have intuition The human conscience is in the human spirit and promotes an inherent knowledge of good and evil.

Romans 9:1   I speak the truth in Christ--I am not lying, my conscience confirms it in the Holy Spirit--

2 Corinthians 1:12   Now this is our boast: Our conscience testifies that we have conducted ourselves in the world, and especially in our relations with you, in the holiness and sincerity that are from God. We have done so not according to worldly wisdom but according to God's grace.

Jude 1:10   Yet these men speak abusively against whatever they do not understand; and what things they do understand by instinct, like unreasoning animals--these are the very things that destroy them.

It is through the human spirit that we are able to pray

John 4:24   Jesus said "God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth."

Hebrews 4:12   For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

1 Samuel 1:13   Hannah was praying in her heart, and her lips were moving but her voice was not heard. Eli thought she was drunk.

1 Samuel 1:15   "Not so, my lord," Hannah replied, "I am a woman who is deeply troubled. I have not been drinking wine or beer; I was pouring out my soul to the LORD.

It is through the human spirit that we have  spiritual bonding.

Job 19:26   And after my skin has been destroyed, yet in my flesh I will see God;

Job 19:27   I myself will see him with my own eyes--I, and not another. How my heart yearns within me!

Psalm 84:2   My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the LORD; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.

Isaiah 26:9   My soul yearns for you in the night; in the morning my spirit longs for you. When your judgments come upon the earth, the people of the world learn righteousness.

Luke 23:46   Jesus called out with a loud voice, "Father, into your hands I commit my spirit." When he had said this, he breathed his last.

James 2:26   As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead.

Song of Solomon

It is through the human spirit that we have revelation

Matthew 16:17   Jesus replied, "Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by man, but by my Father in heaven.

Matthew 16:19   I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven."

It is through the human spirit that we have sin

Matthew 18:7   "Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to sin! Such things must come, but woe to the man through whom they come!

Matthew 18:8   If your hand or your foot causes you to sin cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life maimed or crippled than to have two hands or two feet and be thrown into eternal fire.

Matthew 18:9   And if your eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into the fire of hell.

            Damaged Spirits

Lamentations 1:16   "This is why I weep and my eyes overflow with tears. No one is near to comfort me, no one to restore my spirit. My  children are destitute because the enemy has  prevailed."

Proverbs 17:22   A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.

Proverbs 18:14   A man's spirit sustains him in sickness, but a crushed spirit who can bear?

            A judgmental spirit

Matthew 7:1   "Do not judge, or you too will be judged.

Matthew 7:2 -5  For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. "Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?  How can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye.

John 8:15   You judge by human standards; I pass judgment on no one.

John 8:16   But if I do judge, my decisions are right, because I am not alone. I stand with the Father, who sent me.

Romans 2:1   You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge the other, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things.

Romans 2:2   Now we know that God's judgment against those who do such things is based on truth.

Romans 2:3   So when you, a mere man, pass judgment on them and yet do the same things, do you think you will escape God's judgment?

Psalm 69:20   Scorn has broken my heart and has left me helpless; I looked for sympathy, but there was none, for comforters, but I found none.

James 4:11   Brothers, do not slander one another. Anyone who speaks against his brother or judges him speaks against the law and judges it. When you judge the law, you are not keeping it, but sitting in judgment on it.

James 4:12   There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the one who is able to save and destroy. But you--who are you to judge your neighbors?

            A MOUTHY SPIRIT

James 3:8   but no man can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison.

James 3:9 -11  With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in God's likeness.

Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers, this should not be.  Can both fresh water and salt water flow from the same spring?

            .AN IMPRISONED SPIRIT

Psalm 142:3   When my spirit grows faint within me, it is you who know my way. In the path where I walk men have hidden a snare for me.

Psalm 142:4 Look to my right and see; no one is concerned for me. I have no refuge; no one cares for my life.

Psalm 143:3 The enemy pursues me, he crushes me to the ground; he makes me dwell in darkness like those long dead.

Psalm 143:4 So my spirit grows faint within me; my heart within me is dismayed.

A defiled spirit  will lead to a distorted perception of God and His word.

2 Corinthians 7:1   Since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God.

2 Corinthians 6:16   What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: "I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people."

2 Corinthian 6:17   "Therefore come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you."

A sick spirit creates physical problems

Proverbs 17:22   A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.

Job 17:1   My spirit is broken, my days are cut short, the grave awaits me.

Part 5 2009

Feeding The Spirit  John 4: 24   --  God is a Spirit: . . . .

God created within man a spirit, His image. Man has now became body, soul, and spirit. God has a companion. The spirit part of man makes it possible for God and man to talk to each other. This gave them fellowship. When Adam and Eve sinned, they lost their spiritual connection with God. They became body and soul and everyone born into this world today is a body and soul person until they are born again. The born again spirit is our ticket into the kingdom of God.

Pastor Allen Skroch .

BORN AGAIN

1.. BORN AGAIN EXPERIENCE ENABLES SPIRITUAL GROWTH, 1 Thessalonians 5:23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. "This is his commandment, that we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ." 1Jo 3:23

2. BY THE SPECIAL OPERATION OF GOD’S SPIRIT UPON OUR SOUL, 1 Peter 2:25 For you were like sheep going astray, but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls. Romans 8:14 because those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.

3.. A REALIZATION OF THE LORD'S PRESENCE,  when the Lord is presence,  His felt presence opens, enlarges, and expands the spirit  Psalm 119:32 "I will run the way of Your commandments, when You shall enlarge my heart

4. AN UNDERSTANDING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, whenever felt in the soul, produces power by it’s secret, penetrating, influence and expands and enlarges the persons spirit senses. Ps 147:18  "You shall know the truth; and the truth shall make you free."

5. OUR UNDERSTANDING IS OPENED Lu 24:45 "Then opened he their understanding that they might understand the Scriptures." ." Ps 119:144 "Give me understanding and I shall live” Romans 2:15 since they show that the requirements of the law are written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness, and their thoughts now accusing, now even defending them. 2 Corinthians 4:2 Rather, we have renounced secret and shameful ways; we do not use deception, nor do we distort the word of God.

6. EXPANDING  OUR CONSCIENCE. As we get a deeper insight into the Person, work, and blood of Jesus, the conscience takes a wider range, and is made more alive. Hebrews 9:14 How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God! ." Job 27:6 I will maintain my righteousness and never let go of it; my conscience will not reproach me as long as I live. 2 Samuel 24:10 David was conscience-stricken after he had counted the fighting men, and he said to the LORD, "I have sinned greatly Romans 9:1 [ God's Sovereign Choice ] I speak the truth in Christ—I am not lying, my conscience confirms it in the Holy Spirit—

7. ENLARGEMENT OF THE GRACE AND FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT. Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, John 15:16 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit—fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name.

8. EXPANSION OF OUR CONVICTION Ecclesiastes 12:13 Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man. Hebrews 10:22 let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water.

9. HE GIVES US HOPE Hebrews 6:19 We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain,

10. MANIFESTS HIS POWER IN US Acts 4:33 With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and much grace was upon them all.

11. HE GIVES US THE ABILITY TO SPEAK. "My mouth is enlarged over my enemies, because I rejoice in your salvation." 1Sa 2:1 It is out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. Pr 16:23 "The heart of the wise teaches his mouth, and adds learning to his lips." 2 Peter 1:21 For prophecy never had its origin in the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.

12. ENLARGEMENT OF YOUR  WALK. Ps 18:36 "You have enlarged my steps under me, that my feet did not slip." 1 Chronicles 4:10 Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, "Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain." And God granted his request.

13. LOVE ONE ANOTHER. 2 John 1:5 And now, dear lady, I am not writing you a new command but one we have had from the beginning. I ask that we love one another." Luke 6:27  "But I tell you who hear me: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you,

14. DENY YOURSELVES, Luke 9:23 Then he said to them all: "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. Revelation 14:12 This calls for patient endurance on the part of the saints who obey God's commandments and remain faithful to Jesus. "I will RUN the way of your commandments

15. THE LORD'S SUPPER 1 Corinthians 11:24 and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, "This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me." 1 Corinthians 11:25 In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me."

16. BAPTISM IN WATER to put to death the fleshly sin nature Romans 6:4, in which the believer is fully immersed into water. Mark 16:16-18 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. 17And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; 18 they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well."

17. BAPTISM OF REPENTANCE Acts 19:4, "John's baptism was a baptism of repentance. He told the people to believe in the one coming after him, that is, in Jesus." Mark 1:4 And so John came, baptizing in the desert region and preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins. Luke 3:3 He went into all the country around the Jordan, preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins. " Acts 17:30 In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent. Romans 2:4 Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, tolerance and patience, not realizing that God's kindness leads you toward repentance?

18. BAPTISM BY THE HOLY SPIRIT INTO THE BODY OF CHRIST UPON SALVATION. This is the Spirit baptism that makes us one 1 Cor. 12:13 cf. Eph. 4:4-6. "For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether [we be] Jews or Gentiles, whether [we be] bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit."

20.  BAPTISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT.  Jesus said that the believer would receive power when His Holy Spirit comes upon the believer. "But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth" Acts 1:8. Joel 2:28,29 and Acts 2:17,18 the prophet Joel prophesies that in the last days God would pour out His spirit upon all flesh.

19. BAPTISM WITH FIRE Mt. 3:11: John speaking, "I baptize you with water for repentance. But after me will come one who is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not fit to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire. His winnowing fork is in his hand, and he will thoroughly clean out his threshing floor; and gather his wheat into the barn; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire." Luke 3:9"And even now the ax is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire."17"His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather the wheat into His barn; but the chaff He will burn with unquenchable fire."

20. BAPTISM WITH DEATH Mark 10: 38 also Matt. 20:23 . "You don't know what you are asking," Jesus said. "Can you drink the cup I drink or be baptized with the baptism I am baptized with?" 39 "We can," they answered. Jesus said to them, "You will drink the cup I drink and be baptized with the baptism I am baptized with," We are told that we are all baptized into his death Rom.6 :3 Romans 6:4 We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life. What part does he bring with him?

Part 6

The spiritual kingdom ranking

Acts 17:24,28 “The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by hands....he is not far from each one of us. ‘For in him we live and move and have our being.’”

When Adam and Eve sinned, they lost their spiritual connection with God.  Believing on Jesus as Lord and Savior and his death and resurrection we are able to reclaim that connection. It is the spirit which sets man apart from the rest of creation.  God can communicate with us through our spirits.

We pretend to believe him to be present everywhere, and yet many live as if he were present nowhere. God is omnipresent, but not equally manifested in all places at all times, he will draw on your relationship with him. Now God had a companion. The spirit part of man makes it possible for God and man to talk to each other. This gave him fellowship.

            Pastor Allen Skroch

James 4:8 Come near to God and he will come near to you....

Hebrews 10:22. Let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water.

Acts 17:28 "In him we live, and move, and have our being"[

Psalms 139:7-10 Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast.

Jeremiah 23:23,24;  “Am I only a God nearby,” declares the Lord, “and not a God far away? Can anyone hide in secret places so that I cannot see him?” declares the Lord. “Do not I fill heaven and earth?” declares the Lord.

1 Kings 8:10-13,27 When the priests withdrew from the Holy Place, the cloud filled the temple of the Lord. And the priests could not perform their service because of the cloud, for the glory of the Lord filled his temple. Then Solomon said, “The Lord has said that he would dwell in a dark cloud; I have indeed built a magnificent temple for you, a place for you to dwell forever....But will God really dwell on earth? The heavens, even the highest heaven, cannot contain you. How much less this temple I have built!”

Judges 6:15,16 “But Lord,” Gideon asked, “how can I save Israel? My clan is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my family.” The Lord answered, “I will be with you, and you will strike down all the Midianites together.”

Hebrews 13:5-6 Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?”

Acts 18:9,10 One night the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision: “Do not be afraid; keep on speaking, do not be silent. For I am with you, and no one is going to attack and harm you, because I have many people in this city.”

MINISTERING SPIRITS
